News

The school's website is under review;

Mrs Smith is currently asking students what they think about this website. It is really important that our students have a say in the development of this site, making it a site that is current, up-to-date and accessible for everyone. All ideas and views will be valued as we go through a period of website review.

If you are a visitor to this site and wish to add to the review please e-mail Mrs Smith.

New brochure folder!

The Meadows has updated its school brochure folder. Students who join the school will now be given an information pack that is presented in our new folder.

The Olympics are coming

This summer the Olympic Games will be taking place in London. To get into the spirit of the Games The Meadows has been given a country to support and get behind. This will give us the chance to learn about the Olympic ideals of fair play, environmental protection, working against violence and intolerance, supporting diversity and equality, displaying positive role models, and promoting culture.
We will be learning about these through studying Haiti, our country to support. The island is most famous for Voodoo and being the setting for the Bond Film Live and Let Die. We hope to learn more about this island, it’s athletes and look forward to cheering them on in July and August.
